I currently own a '87 930. I'm considering buying a N/A 993. Is 400hp possible to the wheels?

YES with a supercharger. If not I would say the cost is so much it really wouldnt be worth it. I would be shocked if you could actualy do it NA without an engine swap to be honest.

If 4000 wheel HP is your goal, get a Turbo, then it's very easy. With a Na 993, it will cost quite a bit of $$ to get 400WHP.

Go drive one, it's faster then a stock 930, & WAY more stable.
