Wheel advice ...

I'd like to hook up some new wheels to my 993 C4S. It's polar silver over black interior. Excellent condition, too.

I have the proverbial Turbo Twists on the car ... very nice, but I'd like something different. Something darker against the silver car. I do not expect to sell the OEM wheels, but rather keep them.

The car has been lowered with HD Bilsteins, springs and such. Rides great, better than OEM.

Please don't give me a hard time because I don't want to spend $5600 on a set of 4 HRE's or some such wheels. I'm not interested in doing so. But, I've found some wheels on Tire Rack that I like and think will fill the bill for me with significantly less cost.

Thinking of OZ Alleggerita HLT's. Fronts weigh 18 lbs, and the rears are 20 lbs. Pretty good I think.

Offset for the fronts is 50 mm .... rears 40 mm.
Back spacing is 6.53" front ... rear 7.08".
Tires are 225/40-18s front ... rear is 285/30-18.

Any opinions regarding fitment. Recommended tires for these wheels?

Thanx in advance.

Bagger...if you go to Rennlist, you'll see I started a thread on the 993 Turbo section calling for postings of photos of WB 911 wheels. One poster (Nurburger) is sort of a collector of wheels. He posted a bunch of pictures of his 911's - one in particular with his silver C4S which has some beautiful wheels on it - which I am almost sure he is selling.

He is a top drawer guy and knows his Porsches. Worh a PM to him for sure to see what he has.

Yes, I've seen this thread. Very nice. The only wheels that pique my interest are the Fuchs ... and I'm sure they are more than what I'm interested in paying.

Very nice car, tho. Much like mine ... just more powerful.

those HLT's on your tirerack link look good. will probably look good on your car too.
another option that looks good and fits the car well are the 997 carrera 3 wheels. I think they are slightly heavier and a little cheaper.
