Grey 993
Grey 993
Hello!
I have a red 993 c2. Recently I saw a few 997s that had a color called the Atlas Grey, sometimes it is grey, sometimes it is black, sometimes it has a hint of blue, and sometimes it has a hint of purple. This is how amazing this color is, but would this be suited for the 993(I may paint to that color)? do color matter in different generations?
Give your opinion!
Thx

The 993 is a classic shape, personally I would stick with the traditional color it came in, as it look best in that era.
If your car has original paint, then def do no change it, it will never be the same as newer cars have water based paint.
Also it's kind of like putting LED lights on a 993, just wouldn't look right IMO.

I believe water based paint started with the 996 generation.
My car is a 1996 and my local autobody shops confirmed it's not water based and 993s were the last.
This is the only gray color 993 I've seen posted, you should look thru Rennlist archives for more pics, there is plenty there being having a huge 993 forum community.
