are you stating that the a/c efficiency wasn't up to summer temps? was the system up to date and charged well? just curious as i'm looking at making the switch from my 997S to a 993 here in TX. a/c MUST work well. would appreciate any insight.

also had a B6 nogaro S4 avant. cool car.

I'm in NY, so it's not as hot as TX, but... The AC in my 993 does well, although I have to think your 997's AC is better. The AC keeps my car perfectly comfortable in temps up to about 90, IMO. Above 90, the AC still does the job, but the fan speed needs to be on 3 (of 4), which can be a bit noisy. I can't tell you much about how it does with temps over 100 (thankfully ) Wonderful car -- I've had mine 13 years.
