It's still waiting in the wings...behind my 997tt cab and SL65 wide body build. It will be going to the body shop for the Turbo panel(s) integration after the 997tt (minor work in comparison). Given the work needed on the 997 probably in 3-4 weeks.

How do I subscribe as this will be a sweat build, and nice choice on colors so far both in and out....for interior may recomend a two tone black with the red as sometimes all red (bordoux) from carpets to seats can be a bit strong...

good luck with the build, love it already

Thanks guys...it won't be all red...there will be a definite effort to have a purposeful interior that will be classically minimalist with different types of contrasting materials that are lightweight but true to the Porsche feel. Tall order but it'll be fun trying...

Very interesting project. My father did something similar with his '77 Targa. It's converted into a '993 Turbo-look Speedster'.

But I must say, it is a shame you have to tear apart that beautiful 993 C2!

Some ongoing body work...the OE front Turbo fenders came in, too...

Your telling me... The SL65 wide body build and this build are winding down...but the 993 Turbo wide Speedster build is starting to roll plus the GT-R is getting a face lift with a new CF front end and hood.

Also we are starting a 240Z wide body build after the SL65 is done...it'll look like this... But with a better looking hood louvres...and a RB26DETT conversion.

sounds great! Can't wait to see more. Always enjoy your builds. Have you considered non-metallic slate grey? Love that color!

They were working on the Speedster cowl today...we are going to have the cowl ends extended to have a cleaner look...third brake light bar WILL disappear!

I just wanted to post an update on Cool Carbon Brake Pads for track use. I used these pads at a track in Wilcox, AZ. Not a hard braking layout. Some may have better results but my results were not good. After a cool down lap I still had smoking front brake pads. I do drive the car very close to it's limits. Just my two cents.
