Pulled the trigger

Traded in my 2014 tt for a perfect 993 c2.

Went in to get servicing and left there with a giant smile.

I want to coax more power out of the engine - what tuning is best?

Steve Weiner of Rennsport in Portland, Oregon can improve ECU

I sent him my ecu, from my 993 97 cab, for about $ 500

From their web site " Rennsport Systems offers GIAC performance chips & software (flash) for all Porsches built from 1990-onward.

adds about 12 hp

Call Steve, great guy, very honest

I've never used Steve but he has an outstanding reputation in the 993 community. Good luck. These cars aren't very "tune-able" but I've owned mine for 15 years and have loved every minute of it. There's just something special about them.

Congrats... You will love it. I have a 997tt and a 993. I was supposed to sell the 993 2 years ago when I bought the 997tt. I couldn't do it and dropped a few expensive purchases on the wife to distract her.

Items that help... Golden rod, fister 3 exhaust, new poly bushings upfront, springs, and shocks. Not a lot of HP increase, but increases driving experience. You might have some of these already.
