Need new tubos?

Hey there. My fathers 1996 TT 38,000miles is now smoking on the passengers side.
Since I moved away for school he hasn't been driving it. I have been a broken record about the damages of not driving his Porsches and now I think the passengers turbo seals are bad.

I changed the oil and both filters every year. And she never used oil.
never smoked or had any run-ability issues.
When he started it up he thought it was condensation but she just kept hazing smoke. She idled for about 10 min with some revs with no change. I use Mahle and Mann filters.

Im assuming she will need a new cat on the passenger side from the oil smoke contamination. Correct?

I told him to remove the 2 allen hex oil plugs under the turbos for now. Untill we decide what to do.

If it is the turbo I am thinking of upgrading the oil back flow lines.

Should I get a different kit?

Are there other lines I should get for controlling oil flow? I have heard of getting these
"996TT style, scavenge lines that run from the turbo sump tanks to the scavenge pump."

Any wisdom would be great.
