What would it take to convert a 993 Cab to a speedster (like the 964 style speedsters). Would it simply be a matter of putting the speedster top, windows, windshield, and tonneau cover on a 993 cab or would it be way more involved. I think the lines of the 993 work a little better with the speedster top/windshield.

Get a 964 speedster and change the panels...thats would be both easier and safer.

 

It can be done but I think that the expense would be pretty high. I've seen an article a few years back about a 993 cab that got turned into a 993 turbo speedster.

 

THe parts for a speedster are pretty rediculous... I agree, buy the speedster and hang the 993 sheetmetal on it. Still not an easy task, but probably less expensive. (Probably an easy $10K + if you look around). I've seen a few cars 993 body and speedster windshield. THey look pretty awesome.
