the 993 is the last of the air cooled making it far more collectible. It really is the pinnacle of the air cooled era.

the body shape is far superior!

the early 996's with the 3.2's are undesireable.

i have had my 993 for quite some time and i'm now considering selling it to get a gt3. if you want to see one of the nicest 993's around i'm in your area (palo alto) and you are welcome to see a fine example. Get one that has been serviced well and well cared for....

 

So don't get me wrong, I love993's.
Today I'm coming over a crest in a road by my house and there's a 993 c2s coming the other way. I wasn'nt really thinking about it. My first unconscious thought was that It looked outdated and weak.
I struggled with the whole 993 vs 996tt thing before I took the plunge. I think I made the right choice at least for me. the 993 was an incredible car and always will be!

If I had to choose between a 993 and a regular 996 I'd take the 993 in a heartbeat.

I would go with the 993. I am in the market for 1 and after the long debate to myself between 2001 996, and 1996 993, I make the choice of going with 993.

I went with the 993 as well, last of the air cooled motors, very nice looking P-car.

 

993 is for the purest and the 996 and 997 are for the yuppies. I wish I still had my 993 C4S...

 

$45k seams like a steal for me! All the ones around here are well over $50k, & with under 30kmi are over $60k.

I don't see them going down any time soon, & BB has the value of this car totally wrong!!
