I know what you are going through. I bought a 996TT last month and can't justify keeping my 1996 993 Cab (Wimbleton green, black leather, lowered, SS, exhaust, Air cleaner, etc) too.
So I have it at Paul Sloan's to sell for me in Connecticut (www.sloancars.com). I really loved my 993 Cab. It is a stunning color (sort of like a subtle and elegant turqoise) looked and sounded wonderful and handled well.
But the 996TT is so much more car in every way. Oh well. Good luck.

I recently purchase a F360 spider. I had to make a choice between my 05 C2S cab and my 97 C2 due to space issues. My wife thought I lost my mind, but guess what, I held on to my 993. I don’t regret it a bit.

I'd keep it. I've got a '96 993 cab that I DO NOT want to sell ... even though I'm looking for a 993TT or a 996 GT3. I too am trying to convince my wife that I need 2 911's.
