Should I keep my '96 993??

I bought a low mileage C2 in March of last year off Ebay. I ended up with a beautiful C2 coupe in mechanically perfect condition. It had 27000 miles on it then and now has 36000. I really love this car but just found out my GT3 is on the boat. I also have a Cayenne S so a third car really isn't needed.
I'm so worried I'll regret selling it but if I do (probably) I'ld like someone to get it who would appreciate it. It has limited slip and I just had really cool Rennline pedals installed. Would it damage the car to mothball it???

If you can afford both, definitely keep both.

Just make sure you exercise 'em, unless of course to fully store the 993.

No, not yet. I only listed it, through Rennlist and PCA, a couple days ago. I'm actually debating whether to keep it--I want a track car but I hate to get rid of the cab (in these parts of the country, MI, we need to take advantage of all the good weather we can get. ).

My wife thinks I'm crazy for even considering getting rid of it.

BTW, if you intend to keep your 993 stored with no driving, just make sure you do it correct and completely. Otherwise, you'll probably have some serious seal issues.

Good luck.

Your 993 doesn't happen to be yellow does it? If so you got a buyer.

I sold my 40th Anniversary several months ago.

Went through withdrawal and picked up a 993 C2S. At first, it felt like I took a step down in terms of luxury. But for some reason, I just can't seem to get enough of this 993. I find myself thoroughly enjoying this car...even in Los Angeles traffic! I'm going to keep this C2S until I can no longer drive. My 993 is a keeper.

I say keep your 993 as a daily driver.

My 993 is black on black. Took it to the dealer Sat and he said that he probably couldn't give me what it really was worth but he'll give me a number
today. Found out there are lots of things you have to do to mothball it and
I've kind of decided against that. Right now I'm thinking of keeping it for now. I agree it would make a great daily driver but I already have a Cayenne S, too. If any of you guys come across someone who really would appreciate
this car, let me know.

You're welcome. Hope things work out. I'm trying to convince my wife that I need two 911s.

...it's a work in progress.
