What are these head unit connectors specifically used for?
Does anyone know what these two connectors are used for specifically (2005-2010 Continental years)? Antennas for something, GPS, etc? I have a broken connector (if I recall its the white plug) - wondering if that will cause an issue with any of the system - or if it is for say satellite radio, we don't use that anyhow.
Anyone know which kind of FAKRA connectors they are (B / K?)? Looks like just need to replace the plastic housing.. anyone done this? Or know the OEM wiring harness part#?
Thank you

The GPS signal plugs into the Nav Drive in the glove box.
From memory, those Fakra connectors are wired to the Radio 1 and 2 antennae amplifier modules in the rear screen. I know at least one of these amplifiers deals with FM, if not both. Sorry I cant be more specific.
Also, if you’re looking for parts to repair broken connectors, go for Fakra Z, as they’re universal.
Hello @mrc00l88 ,
Those two connectors are for AM and FM antennas.
The GPS antenna connection is on the rear of the NAV disc drive in the glovebox, as is the antenna connection for the SAT radio on the SAT radio module itself located in the boot.
