buy the one you enjoy how to drive. yes a '98 993 is likely to appreciate for some of the reasons you noted. so i guess i'm saying it isn't that hard of a decision unless you are buying a garage queen. if you are buying to drive it, then buy what you like to drive and what you like to look at.
