I like the exterior...it seems though that the S is no wider than the regular as is/was the case on the 993 and 996....Also, I wish they used the split tail panel on the S just like on the 993 C2S

i really dont think there will be a turbo version of that car. Notice that the stock engine is still the 3.6 liter with 325 hp. The car as said by someone else will be a transistion car. Porsche is very loyal to their customers and i think by not releasing a 997 turbo they will really help the 996 turbo market which has been bruised by over production. Turbo may hold their value extremly well in the comeing years. 996's are very similar to the new cars and most people want performance over luxury so people will want turbos, and wont settle for a c2s with rwd. It seems they arnt going to realese the awd version yet either which also reeforces the idea that a turbo will not be made. I look forward to the 998, but i dont want to give up the 96tt for a couple of years

Maybe that gauge in the center is an Altimeter for us people that live above 200 ft above sea level!!! Lets us know how much Oxygen we really are lacking from our brains!!

Renntech said that the center object is indeed a clock. You know those sportscar drivers - always need to have their huge, conspicuous clock right in the middle of the dash in case they want to know what time it is!

"The Carrera S is equipped with 19 inch rim/tyres, size 8J x 19, with 235/35 ZR 19 (front axle) and 11J x 19 with 295/30 ZR 19 (rear axle). " That's the same tire/wheel size I have on my TT !!! See...Porsche and I know something..

I hope there is a "Delete Dumbass Clock" option on the order guide. I think the code is "DDACLK"
