I also went to do a dyno pull yesterday to get a baseline before I touched anything on the car.. This dyno was done with no cool down. I pulled off the street and onto the dyno..

The car is 100% stock right down to the paper airfilters. I couldnt get a torque reading because I had no idea where I could get a tach signal from... Can anyone tell me how to do this for next time?

407rwhp equates to 479hp at the crank with 15% driveline loss so I think this GT2 is spot on in terms of factory spec.

The coating was $375 for both intercoolers. The intercoolers are Evo's right now.. I am going to test them and see how well they perform.. I will be testing them against my own set that I am having fabricated to see which ones are better.

I am still waiting on my aluminum intake manifold, my Garrett hybrid turbos and my headers... project is moving along but very slowly right now...

Didnt want to bother installing any of the exhaust components and then having to redo the work once the other parts arrive so I am holding off right now.

This project is taking alot longer than I thought it would.. I was hoping to have the car completed and road tested before snow fall, but that is not going to happen now...

Just received the last box of goodies today.. and as luck would have it, we got dumped on with our first snowfall.. Arrrgghh..

Anyways.. The new intake tubing, coated headers, aluminum bypass valves, and last but not least the killer turbos arrived..

As soon as the snow melts on the first warm day, I'll get the car flat bedded to the install shop and get the install started. I guess it will have to hibernate with its new 700hp powerplant until spring time when it will get to terrorize the streets of T.O...

Congrats on the new car!

...Shows waiting can have its payoffs

Nice list of mods, keep us updated on the results after the installs.

Looking at your dyno, car seems to extremely rich after 80mph+ on a base run pull? Have you looked into that, or is it normal?

GT2 to 996TT comparison

Very nice Victor!! I can tell you probably don't have a wife to stop you from buyinh all those toys and mods!!

Can you please provide us with some comparisons, driving impressions, fun factor, etc. of the GT2 to the AWD 996TT with simaler mods....stock to stock and modded to modded as you go thru your development, road driving, and finally track days?

Is it possible to succesfully mod an AWD 996TT to GT2 specs?

cheers...........Gman
