Porsche Charger Cig. Lighter Question Help

I will be going overseas for 1 month, and purchased the cig. charger from Porsche dealer. Question is can I just leave plugged into my cig. lighter and let it be while it is being trickle charged? Does this cause damage? Can I just leave in and when I come back my car should start up with no issues? Thanks!

You can leave it plugged in. That's what it was designed for.

Yes, drive the car for a while then plug it in and leave it.

Yep, that's what we do when it snows. Works like a charm.

Thanks guys! I was gonna have my daughter start my car every week for 5 minutes! Now I don't have to have her do it! She wants to drive my ride so bad, I don't trust her with it when I am gone! seriously!
