Iam sure he would like to hear that he got beat by an essentially stock Z06!
Better put off that 360 battle until he can beat GM products
. I love to read sci-fi on other car sites too!!

I got in an extensive battle over which is faster (Z06 or Turbo) and after a 40 page thread, it was concluded that both cars are a similar in speed, but the Turbo is a tad faster, and a X50 Turbo is more than a Tad faster...
Ive owned both cars. I assure you that the stock TT is faster than the Z06 in ETs. The trap speeds may be similar. The Z06 is considerably lighter and has almost as much power and torque. Where the TT gets ahead and will stay ahead until the end of the quarter is the start. The AWD and super tall first gear will carry the day on ETs. The Z06 power is very traction limited. Those Eagle supercar tires will spin very easily unless you baby it off the line. That means launching at less than 3K.

I have to say that I know tons of Z06 owners. Not one has a "mullet". I think it is just too bad that car enthusiasts can't get along without these ignorant stereotypes.

The stereo-types are just that, stereo-types, but they're funny regardless.
We can get along just fine. I was w/ 4 Z06's this weekend at the track. Not one had a mullet, but it didn't keep me from making fun. They made fun of me and TT owners as garage-queen poser mobiles and owners. I find it quite humorous, because there's a lot of truth to that too.

Oh, don't get your panties in a twist. It's a joke.

No sweat. Since I own, have owned, an assortment of cars I see these kinds of comments on every board on the internet. I just get tired of it. I like lots of different makes and models. I have no "brand loyalty" at all. I go for whatever I get excited about. Free country though.
