I checked w/ another knowledgeable person, Buddy, and they confirmed that the flywheel was probably the culprit. It makes sense since a lighter flywheel will stop spinning more easily resulting in the motor turning off.

 

My car puts down 1,006 rwhp at full kill...the runs yesterday were at 850 rwhp. The auto Supra was at about 900 rwhp or so...

I have a "fast" car in the garage.......my P car is quick........the Supra Men were in a class of their own..........almost to the point that it is hard to explain.....

Crazy fast...........reliable........and State Trooper aproved........

Anthony - your new car is absolutely STUNNING man! PERFECT car to have in the garage... The thing I love about my Toyota is that it can run 5.1, 5.0, 4.7, 4.9, 4.7, 4.8, 4.8 and still cruise home with A/C blowing cruising at 2k rpm. Now as for the trooper thing...HAHAHAHHAHA "...sir, you have no front plate, you are transporting gasoline in the back seat and you have an off-road exhaust...please start your car for me and give it some gas..." I was like "oh ****..." LOL

Fantastic Results guys,

It is fun to see the Porsches and Supras compete at some of the same events!
I have found the Vette and Viper events are more fun just due to the variety of cars.

Who is Anthony Waller (Paulie Walnuts?) and what mods does his Tippy have?
He had a great run, and so did you Sean, although you could improve it I believe.

Marty, Anthony Waller is not Paulie Walnuts. He just picked up that car, It is a proto 650 i believe.

WOODSTER - yes, that white STi ran the 8.02 He made 550 awhp and ran 180 mph at the TX Mile.
