Do you drive her daily?
I gotta tell ya, I discovered something this past year: the only way to REALLY enjoy a TT is to use it everyday.
I bought my 911 TT cab in early '05, but didn't start driving it everyday until '07. The first 2 years I babied it and only drove on the weekends/good weather days. Now, I use it every day rain or shine (with winter tires from Turkey Day to April 1). What a difference everyday use makes! I'm now much more comfortable driving the car, really look forward to my short commute to and from work, and I'm no longer concerned about "depreciation" (It's gonna depreciate, period, so just get over it). Daily driving just forces you to be much more care free with and less uptight about your car, and this is a healthy development! I also babied my first two 911s (c2s), and now I'm sorry I did. What a waste!
I realize that daily driving will depreciate my TT's value much quicker, but it's well worth it IMHO.
So, you guys with a "station car", "beater" or other so called "daily driver", ditch it and get in your TT. You won't regret it.

Same here - daily driver, just hit 76,000 miles. It's been raining the past 2 days and this car is as much fun (and in some ways more fun) to drive in the rain. No winters though.

Drive her every day to work, to run errands, the strip, the track, cruises...you name it. Put 21K miles on in 2 years. Garage queens are for drama queens.

Wish I could
I commute via van-pool to work 100 plus miles a day round trip. I wish I could but don't trust my ride in a parking lot during the day with no guard! In fact I just got my truck towed this week for illegally parking in shopping center! It cost me 280$! for less than 24 hours (jerks they were laughing when I was paying!). I would hate to see what my ride would look like being towed while carping the front lip
I do need to ride it more on weekends though! Had it for 5 months and only 700 miles on it! sad!

I have a 160 mile round trip commute everyday. I only wish I could drive her. I take her once every two weeks to work and believe me I wish only wish I could drive her every day, I'M ENVIOUS of you guy's.

For the past few months I have found myself driving it more and more. I drove my DD everywhere and would only take the TT out on weekends w/good weather. I now drive it for small errands or just for the heck of it. This car was meant to be driven!
When I first got the turbo and drove it all of the time, I thought it lost some of its specialness for whatever reason... Then the thought of depreciation, keeping it fresh and more for a fun/thrill type weekend car is what I did.. Then I started modding, slammed it, wheels, Techart front and I wound up HARDLY driving it, happened to my past 3 cars and I am finally SICK of it..
My next car I will be driving every damn day that's for sure, well within reason (Winter's here in the NE can get pretty bad
) And with TT prices so low, I might pick one up with navi and nicely optioned and drive the hell out of it!
Keep on enjoying it, I regret taking perfectly drivable cars then worrying to much after modifying and value!
