Loss of power.. I'm clueless

I'm still new to the P-car world, but I've been able to learn lots of things from this forum about our cars. I am currently stumped though. My car is a Stage 2 car with an upSolute tune, K&N Filter and FabSpeed Supersport exhaust. I recently went to the track as I posted before and ran a 12.0 @ 114.8mph with a 1.76ft. The time is good, but the mph is no where close to where it should be, esp for being in low 70* weather. When I was bone stock I ran a 12.7 @ 113mph in 80-85* weather with a crappy 60ft. I raced another Stage 2 car here in town and it was pretty close through 3rd gear, but soon as we went into 4th he started pulling like crazy. His car runs REALLY good for a Stage 2 car, but it shouldn't be that bad.

My only thing I can think of is my boost, although I do not have a analog gauge hooked up, is really low. If I make a 2nd-4th gear pull I MAY see 1.0 bar at the top of 4th and sometimes 3rd. For the most part it stays at .8 to the top of 2nd (sometimes it sees .9 at 6k+ RPM) then .8-.9 bar in 3rd, and finally it sees .8-.9 bar and taps 1.0 bar sometimes at 6k RPM. I've checked everything, including removing my bumper and finding a boost hose off the intercooler halfway off. I thought that may have been the fix, and I took it out and found out it was not. In 80* its still making .8bar and .9bar at the TOP of 3rd gear.

I'm going to try to get it on Auto Dynamica's AWD Dyno here in Houston, but I don't know what I need to be looking for. My only guess was to have an actual Analog boost gauge hooked up to monitor and see if maybe my digital gauge was just screwed up. Though it still wouldn't explain the crappy mph in the 1/4 mile. I know my time came from my 60ft, which I'm still amazed by.

My only thought what could be wrong with the car is maybe leaky wastegates. I don't know how the cars are suppose to sound under WOT, but even before my exhaust my turbos were REALLY loud when I'd go WOT, almost like a Supra with an open wastegate. It's also in the past boosted up to .9bar and then dropped to .8, then back to .9.

What else should I be looking for??

I actually think it sounds about right but you should be having a little bit more at top end. Maybe it's just the Programme, can you install a different Programme or ECU (which should only take minutes) rather than ripping your hair out trying to find out what's going on?

Stock boost hose are also prone to leak. Make sure all the hoses are completely on.

They are Kinesis F110's.

Buddy, I may end up ordering new boost hoses. I found one half off when I had the bumper off, putting it back on had no effect on the boost though

Are you still running factory diverter valves?? If you are there is a good chance that is your problem. The factory plastic valves dont hold up too well against the higher boost of a programed ecu.

Shouldn't 1.0 be about right for a k16?
Did you ever see anything higher than 1.0?
Do you have 91 or 93 octane gas?
What is everyones' thought on resetting the ECU parameters by unplugging the battery for a few minutes?

remember its not all about peak power and boost. A car with a tune that runs .8 boost and alot of timing can be as fast as a car with 1.0 bar and less timing. I personally think its your tuning holding u back. FVD has a killer stage 2 program which I remember spiking 1.1 bar and hold 1.0. It ran like a banshee.

How long do you have to leave the battery off to reset the DME's Parameters. I unplugged it for about 10 seconds, but it didn't seem to do anything.

I just went and reset the DME, left the battery disconnected for 5 minutes. I'll know a little more when I drive home from the office.

I don't think that will fix anything, but the cars had a boost leak forever, so it had always relearned everything with a boost leak.
