gt3 seats for daily driver?
gt3 seats for daily driver?
any opinions here?
are gt3 seats comfortable at all?
1-2 hour drives every now and then... would i be uncomfortable? are they adjustable at all?
if anyone has them installed, or has a gt3 with them, in the NYC area i would appreciate if i can sit in them to see how they are.
thanks!

I installed the carbon GT3seats a few days ago,you cannot adjust anything but I like the way how you sit in them, comfort is good only difficult about these seats is getting in and out but I'm taking ballet lessons now so that problem will soon be resolved :-)
I would buy them immidiatly again....

If you're short they're even better. A friend has them and I plop down into his car like a glove. I plan to get one for myself. Going to keep the passenger seat, though, so I can access my back seat. My instructor on the track can just suck it up, I guess
For long drives (2+ hours) the bottom cushion is too thin.
For ingress/egress they are much worse than stock.
In other words if this was your sales/errands car these would be a pain,
but if you get in your car and drive 1 hour to work and get out they would be fine.
I do love them, my wife doesnt.
They transform the DRIVING EXPERIENCE of the car in a good way-you feel connected.

I have lost count long ago how many times I've done over 500 kilometres in a day with them. No problem at all, really one of the best seats available! Highly recommended...At least for my "European" body...

Off to jogging now!
ps. Good point trying to test them before buying...Btw. When doing some boring drives from/to work you still feel very connected to car and you immediately know you're in a sports car...that's a nice feeling

If you have sport seats stick with them unless you plan on going to the track more than 5 times a year.
heated sport seats with all the bling (before)

track version (after)

If really just a daily driver the sport seats are fine.
I am 5'11' at 170 and I find them uncomfortable for anything over about an hour's drive. Too upright and not enough seat padding. I have a Tempurpedic cushion I use for lumbar support and I find that helps. I have ordered some BK mounts to adjust the seating angle.
I ordered them from OG Racing. They are one of the BK distributors. The Brey Krause part # is BR 9079 which is driver's side only. It works with the sliding factory mounts that came on my original seats. I haven't installed the brackets yet, but there appear to be 2 hole choices in the front part of the mount. The holes are maybe 3/4" apart, one over top of the other. I don''t know exactly how much of an angle that will create but it has to be better than the stock position. It also lowers the seating position by about 1" which would be helpful for tall people. One reason I'm doing this is because with the HANS behind my helmet, it pitches my head too far forward. Also, it should be more comfortable on the street.
