Millaracing: 996tt S

MILLARACING has finished a 2005 996 TT S Cab. The car was brought to us with about 3500 miles.

The customer was looking for a little more grunt and power.

We decided to go with the following modifications which turn the car to an MR600 (HP):
-Milltek Exhuast with race cats
-Hyperboost Diverter Valves
-GIAC ECU flash

Milltek Exhaust
This system not only looks great but the build quality is superior and fit was perfect.
How does it sound? Like a big V8 actually. It's louder than stock, yet not obnoxious or super loud. It's very refined, it burbles when lifting off the thorttle, and sounds amazing at full throttle.

Hyperboost Diverter Valves
In order to keep boost and get it there faster.
These diverter valves not only look great but function extremely well.
We also had the wastegate rod tightened to hold more boost longer and faster.

GIAC ECU Flash
With this flash on the X50/GT2 cars, an exhaust is required.
The throttle response is always there now, no waiting for boost to build. Foot down and you're gone

The customer and I are very happy with this setup: The sound, the power, the delivery

Enjoy these pics and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. All products are available

After talking to other large tuners and the manufacturers they believe this setup will yield 600 Crank HP, but numbers are just numbers

it's all in the driving experience

your package is based entirely off what another tuner/manufacturer claims?

since we do not manufacture these parts, our partners (the manufactures) share their information.

Based upon the engine in this car and the parts that we chose for it, this is a 600HP kit. You will find other tuners on this forum who sell similar setups as their 600 Kit.

We have no intention of posting up false numbers. Based on other systems we have completed and tuning/dyno runs on similar systems that this is the 600 kit.

I will have to agree with the previous posters. The turbo S was rated at 450hp crank from the factory. That would mean that you are claiming 150hp crank from a GIAC file and exhaust. I have had plenty of experience with both of these products and togther they dont make 150hp.

I would be interested to know what "large tuners" say this set-up yeilds 600 crank hp.

I think a dyno might put things in perspective.

Pardon to hi-jack the thread, but I had to add that the same way they (factory) claim for regular 996TT (NOT X-50 package) to have 415-420hp crank, and I recently dynoed my bone stock with no filter or any mod and dynoed 395 awhp on a local Mustang Dyno (which should be around 450-475hp-crank). Soon will be installing exhaust and GIAC and we'll see the difference as I'll dyno after the mods as well. Also, my car has stock K16's.
