Shiny door arm rest

My driver's door (and many other 996tt's black leather interiors I've seen) have a shiny glossy spot where one rests his left elbow whilst driving. Has anyone successfully removed this shine and made that area mat non-gloss again?

I completely re-covered those and added a thin layer of memory foam to boot. Much more comfortable...

Both hands should be up on the wheel whether you're racing, commuting, or on a long haul. You never know when an emergency situation will occur.

Nice job Wross. But I was referring to area directly under the window. The ledge which runs alongside the window.
