This is from a mildly upgraded non x50 6 sp 996TT. I lifted just prior to the end of the 1/4 mile in the first run.

Second run was just thru the 1/8 mile.

 

ROFL.. not if you want to keep your wheels in tact it isn't

 

So if you had a Stage IV and you were using a 100 Octane program you should be making around 640hp which doesn't make sense with ony a 123mph trap speed. If a stock 415hp manages 117-119mph, then with another 200+hp shouldn't you be getting in the mid-high 120s? I realize there are the variables like weather, elevation and track conditions, but you think your trap speed would be higher for all the power you are making.....

 

996 TT are not the best car to be running at the local drag strip.

To view the video... open Quicktime.

In Quicktime, choose:

File > Open URL in New Player

And type in the following URL:

Then you can hit play in Quicktime and you should be able to watch the races.

It may be slow, depending on how many of you try to access the video at once. The server is an Apple G5 sitting on my desk here at home and currently my bandwidth is limited to 256k/sec up and down. You may want to start the download and then go do something else
