Still getting inconsistent boost maybe bad diverter valves?

Turned down gain to 10% set start boost at 1.0 bar this morning 50 degrees third gear hit 1.56 with a steady 1.47. Will try at lunch to see if I can repeat.

Buddy,

I think it's possible that nothing is wrong with your car. Temperature affects the boost on any given setting. When it's cooler, you will boost higher (morning and night at this time of year you will see higher boost than mid-day). The way to use the Greddy is to set it for the conditions at the moment. If it's really hot, you can turn it up a bit until youi get the desired high boost. When it's cold, you will have to turn it down a bit to stay at the same level. Or you can set it so that it's as high as you want it when cold and then it will boost a little less when hot...

I agree, If I had the car for a day I would figure it out.

the only problem is that hes at 98% with only 1.5bar on a 55 degree day. Something else is wrong. I think he might have to tighten his wastegates on his turbos. Im pretty positive he doesnt have the newer gt700 turbos. He should have way more leeway on that controller.

My GT700 is only a year and a half old. When we turned the EBC completely off it would still boost 1.35 bar. We took out the diverter valves and cleaned and greased them. Thought it was working as I started to boost 1.56 in 3rd gear with 1.47 sustained then the more I drove it I could only get 1.33 again?

It has to be something in my ECU, boost leak or my stock intercoolers can't handle it?

I don't know?

Only reason I said your turbos may be different is because when I look at the evoms graph you stop making power at 5500 rpms. My car kept making power past 5500 to redline. Also My car had considerable boost creep(24 to 26 lbs, 2 lbs of creep). And your car is tapering off. With the small turbine housings its inevitable to have some creep even with straight pipes. I think you might have installed it wrong. Contact Markski and make sure all your wires are hooked up the same way. Not saying you F'ed it up but it just doesn't sound right. Unless your whole greddy unit is bunk!
