headlight removal help

headlight removal help

i am trying to replace a burn out parking bulb and i can't get the passanger headlight out. i keep turning the screw inside the fender but it does not do anything...

can anyone help here?

i had the same issue when we installed our HID's. try moving it downward and at an angle. also, if the light moves a bit while you're using the tool, try manually moving the headlight with your hands. push it in as far as it will go in, etc. honestly, i think the headlight gets hung up on the plastic side pieces that the headlight slides onto when it gets put in.

anyway, i'm sure i've confused you! lol! but my headlight does this everytime i take it out. i have to manually move it...push it....pull on it..etc.

Make sure the tool had really engaged the screw. You only have to turn it 90 degrees and the light should move forward a little bit. Grab the light and ease it out. To install, push the light back in and then turn the screw back 90 degrees to its original position.
