Traded my TT Cab for a Ruf

I have always wanted a Ruf and when this one came up for sale last week at the Ruf Auto Centre I wasn't going to let it get away. I drove my cab to Dallas on Friday evening and drove the Ruf back yesterday. The car started life as a seal grey 03 TT X50 with PCCB and lots of great interior options. Then, the Aero Kit was added, every piece of carbon fiber on the interior Porsche sells, 550 horsepower conversion, Ruf coilovers and Ruf 3 Piece wheels. 11,000 miles.

I will tell you that if you have ever thought about Ruf, you should drive one. So very easy to drive. The clutch is perfect, absolutely no hesitation at any speed or rev and when you stand on it....it responds instantaneously with breathtaking performance.

I love this car. It is the perfect color and so fast.

Nice. It looks like the TT twin of Martin's GT2.

Awesome! What is included in the 550 package? I'm strongly considering converting my 997 turbo next year.

I would highly recommend RUF. No other tuner even comes close. These guys do R&D for a year or two before they release a conversion. Case in point, Ruf Auto Centre is just now going to do their first 997 TT conversion. Other tuners have it available in weeks after the release of a car. Costs more, but well worth it. While modifications from other guys may actually decrease the value of a car, Ruf conversions undoubtedly increase the value.

As far as what is included in the package, see the link: http://rufautocentre.com/conversions/996Turbo.asp#

Thanks to everyone form the compliments! I am so in love with this car.

great looking car, I have an 02 seal grey ruf 550 with the 19 inch wheels. I think the 18's with the aero kit make it look even better. The guys at Ruf are great to deal with. Congratulations
