My local Porsche mechanic installed it. As far as setting it up not real hard you start at say 50% boost in the low boost setting. Set the Set Gain for 10 % and the Start Boost/Gain for 1.10. Take the Set Limiter and get it out of the way for tuning so put it at like 2.5 bar and the limit percent at 0. Now go out and make some 3rd speed runs with another person in the car. Have them watch your AFR's and also where you boost is staying. The Greddy will show what your peak boost is but you only care about the steady boost on full throttle.

Just start bumping up the boost percent to get the bar you want. For example if you want low boost set to 1.2 bar and you start at 50% and you are getting .9 then take the boost up to 54% and try again. This might get you to 1.0 then go up to 56% etc... until you get your steady boost to be where you want it. Then do the same for your high boost setting and your done.

Then based on weather conditions you might play a little bit with the boost if it is really cold you may back it down a bit so you stay at the bar setting you want.

Does this make sense? Probably not until you have the unit installed and begin tuning it in.

Also once it is dialed in you can play with the set gain and start boost for better response etc... Once again with the set gain only increase by 2% at a time to see what happens. You want the start boost to be about .3 bar below your top bar setting. So if you are at 1.2 then the start boost should be .9. The set gain should be somewhere between 10% and 24% it is different for each car and setup.
