Disable Rear Wing from Going Down???

Seems like I might have some issues going on with the left piston of the wing assembly. Currently, the wing will go down halfway on the leftside and all the way down on the right side.

I pulled the cap off to the piston (opening the decklid) and there seems to be oil leaking out of it so something is definitely wrong.

Given that my appointment is not until Mid June, is there a way to just keep the wing in the up position (disable a fuse, etc.) all the time, without having to constantly push the up button at random times? I would rather keep it up all the time than risk further damage of it automatically going down.

This may be something that can be handled via the PST2 control (you may check at the dealership).

Also... if there is a fuse for the wing, then raise the wing and pull the fuse... that may keep the wing up all the time.

Kind Regards,

Joe

Service advisor did not know of a way to disable the wing from going down.

I'll have to speak one of the guys that actually works on the car.

The wing fuse also is for the back lid release and a few other things but it's easy to pop in and out.........

I took it to my dealer and one of the techs popped it out in a matter of seconds! That's the last time I ask the service advisor...better to go straight to the source.
