That is my Minnesota friend, Steve Beddor in his RUF CTR2 Sport (air cooled!), Yellow #7 Car

who qualified 12th in a field of 26 Porsche 935's, 956's and the mighty 962's !!

Tire overheating limited him to a 14th place finish. He has video from previous years

going around those banked corners at 180 mph +. Pretty cool for a street car (part time), HUH?

note the Minnesota license plate on the back of the car (with tow hook thru it) on the top row pic second from right.

Marty couldn't be more correct. Steve not only has possibly the best street car in the real world, he knows how to DRIVE the wheels off it! Nice guy to boot. Incredible car worth seeing in person. In fact the whole family seems to be in love with Rufs and special Audis

BTW this car was the first one with the huge center twin tailpipes that remind me of late 935s ....and the sound!

Steve and his family are as classy as they get.
Steve's father just passed away and I saw Steve this past weekend.
Could not meet a nicer more helpful family.
The lap times he has run in this car will boggle your mind. You will not beat him
in his car.
