If anyone knows of any more cars up for sale or coming up for sale let me know, appreciate it...

So a CPO on an 02 is not worth it compared to say one on a 2004 still just in warranty? I thought that the CPO was same for all, 2 years to 100000 miles from the start date. Have I got it wrong then? Now I know I should have brought back the CPO booklet from the dealer yesterday!

Yup, I saw it on Tuesday on my way up to Dallas, it had just been sold Like you said, gorgeous! I was hesitant myself in considerring it due to the mods but I had second thoughts after seeing it!!

This is my first time in to a decent high end car, and I would be driving it daily (about 20 miles total to and from work). I figured it would be better to get started in this level of car with something stock. Ideally I am looking for an 02 6spd coupe with no more than 30k on it. Does this sound like I am heading along the right track?

Cheers..

Adam

Edit- I think they got about $71k for it. Don't hold me to that though..

You should be able to find a good deal even on the forum possibly. With a chip and exhaust you still aren't sacrificing anything as far as drivability goes. Plus your AWD so you do not need to worry about breaking the tires loose. Well unless your like me and are always trying to stay in the 1.7 60ft area LOL! So if you do find a car with like a chip and exhaust, or K24s, etc. They are still going to be bullet proof.

Check some of the Porsche dealerships. I know Porsche on I10 had 2 or 3 Turbos when I picked up some stuff there the other day.

Yes, Advantage have an '03 Black with low low miles. Stretching it a little too far for me ($$) and I really didn't like the interior unfortunately. They also have/had an 01 Blue car, that one is really not a colour I am after. I can hang out a little longer and hopefully a good combo will show up, preferably blk/blk or blk/brn, or a red or a silver..

Yes that was my turbo at the lambo dealer. Did it sell? I waxed that car every other wash.It has the k24's w/ stg 4 tuning w/upgraded wastegates, pss9's, h&r bars, hre 19" 543r, carbon fiber on the inside, ruf front spoiler & gt2 rear spoiler. And it ran real strong. I traded it for a 2003 GT2. It also has gt2 intercoolers w/ silicone hoses. I know i am forgetting something, but close enough.

Thanks for the friendly welcomes here. Looking forward to being an owner/member here soon. I need some '02s to materialize!

I am checking the dealer websites daily, have autotrader alerts for everything around Houston/Dallas. Anything else I am missing??

Hi, I'm looking for 996TT in the Houston area too, but I am down in Mexico right now, ready to buy January. Let me know your findings ok.
I saw a GR/NBL in Dallas, price was moderate car seems pristine.

I don't have any good photos readily available, however, you can come and see the car in person if you are in the Houston area. If you can't come, I will send you some pics via e-mail.

I live in the Memorial area. Let me know.
