Thanks for all the welcomes. Whose silver 02 was at the Lambo dealer? Someone on here?

Welcome! Aftermarket warranties will cover issues at their discretion. If they choose to not cover an issue then you should be able to get a full refund. Pretty useless IMHO. CPO is great but only for cars that are not out of their original warranty period. Realize the 996TT is very reliable with very few bugs so don't be afraid to get a car with no warranty- I did 3 1/2 years ago and do not regret it.

I wonder how much they are asking?
This is my first time in to a decent high end car, and I would be driving it daily (about 20 miles total to and from work). I figured it would be better to get started in this level of car with something stock. Ideally I am looking for an 02 6spd coupe with no more than 30k on it. Does this sound like I am heading along the right track?
Cheers..
Adam
Edit- I think they got about $71k for it. Don't hold me to that though..
You should be able to find a good deal even on the forum possibly. With a chip and exhaust you still aren't sacrificing anything as far as drivability goes. Plus your AWD so you do not need to worry about breaking the tires loose. Well unless your like me and are always trying to stay in the 1.7 60ft area LOL! So if you do find a car with like a chip and exhaust, or K24s, etc. They are still going to be bullet proof.
Check some of the Porsche dealerships. I know Porsche on I10 had 2 or 3 Turbos when I picked up some stuff there the other day.

Yes that was my turbo at the lambo dealer. Did it sell? I waxed that car every other wash.It has the k24's w/ stg 4 tuning w/upgraded wastegates, pss9's, h&r bars, hre 19" 543r, carbon fiber on the inside, ruf front spoiler & gt2 rear spoiler. And it ran real strong. I traded it for a 2003 GT2. It also has gt2 intercoolers w/ silicone hoses. I know i am forgetting something, but close enough.

Thanks for the friendly welcomes here. Looking forward to being an owner/member here soon. I need some '02s to materialize!
I am checking the dealer websites daily, have autotrader alerts for everything around Houston/Dallas. Anything else I am missing??

Hi, I'm looking for 996TT in the Houston area too, but I am down in Mexico right now, ready to buy January. Let me know your findings ok.
I saw a GR/NBL in Dallas, price was moderate car seems pristine.

I have a 2003 Porsche 996 TT available for sale. It has approximately 13,400 miles. It is Slate Gray with matching painted rear console and black interior. It also has the white Carrera dials. Other options include a small carbon fiber package and Porsche crests on the sport seats. And last but not least, it has an awesome TechArt racing exhaust system.
If interested, please call me at (713) 927-4642.

I don't have any good photos readily available, however, you can come and see the car in person if you are in the Houston area. If you can't come, I will send you some pics via e-mail.
I live in the Memorial area. Let me know.

Wish I had the funds to make it viable to come see your car!
