How fast does the data refresh on that Brockway device, is it slow like the stock boost gauge?

So the Brockway unit has an OBD connector on one end and just plugs into your cars OBD connector? Do you have the single DIN mounting plate in your car?

I do not use the brockway as a boost gauge - I have the Greddy which responds quickly, quicker than the stock gauge. I am not sure how the Brockway performs if connected to boost, but the AFR updates instantly.

Adam, that is the DIN plate, but I trimmed it a bit to configure to the shape of storage bin, which is not square. It would fit in the next spot up, where I have my Greddy without trimming it. Since I am making a custom CF plate for the Brockway, it didn't matter to me, as I will have to do more trimming before it's ready to send out.

Yes, it just plugs into the OBD2 port - that's it. Connection could't be easier.

thnx
The GT700 comes with pump gas and race gas programs. On race gas I was at 1.3 bar max. Yes running GT28's.

This is my motor build:

Complete disassembly of engine down to the crank
-Inspect, size, spec out all parts including: crankshaft, pistons, valves, guides, cams, springs, etc.
-Inspect for unusual wear, measure all wear components to determine if they are within specifications and address any problems
-Sonic clean components and prep for reinstallation
-Inspect valve train and reseat valves with hand lapping method
-Install new GT3R racing high flow oil pump
-Install new crankshaft, intermediate, rod and main bearings Install new Carrillo Connecting Rods w/ multi torque rod bolts (carr bolts)
-Install new high strength aircraft quality head studs / hardware
-Install EVO designed high pressure head gaskets
-Install and gap new piston rings
-Install new OEM o-rings, seals and associated gaskets
-Build bottom utilizing OEM & EVO developed high power building procedures
-Time camshafts utilizing OEM timing tools
-Install all associated induction / top end components with all new gaskets and seals
-Secure and zip tie all vacuum / pressure lines as required for high power applications

Buddy - this sounds really interesting. When I get around to having my internals done, I will definately do this. Are you running the normal GT700 file or are changes required to compensate for the 5 bar FPR.

Thanks, Mike

Have you tried running your new setup on the 91 file too?

Also... Have the boys at EVO given this the "2 thumbs up"?

Thanks Buddy.

Mike

Buddy,

When doing your EBC research, did you consider the HKS EVC VI? If you ruled it out, please tell me why. It is the one I am presently considering.

Nice to chat with you in Atlanta the other evening.
