Many of the euro tuners do engine internals at the 550hp-600hp mark. I think it's just a more conservative school of thought over there.
American tuners "push it" a bit more, but I think there are enough data points on here to suggest that we are still well within safety margins.

My mod list is not too extravagant, I'll be doing for a total of 550-600 crank HP:
- BMC air filter + possibly second air snorkel
- K16/16G or K16/K24 hybrids + flash from either EPL or UMW
- 70mm exhaust.
Be aware about your torque converter, it will broke before your gear box did. Mine was done only with K16/24s. I exchanged mine from EVOMS and put K24/18gs in the same time. Running only 4k km after that but did test 200-300km with D-box for 10+ times. 18.8 secs is the best I can get under 24。C.
Your gearbox should be find with K16/24 if you don't push it way too hard.
Keep tuning!

Any updates on rwd for a tip? I keep reading unsubstantiated posts that it can't be done. Also still curious if a rear lsd is available for the tip?
