I just put on Gen3 Fabspeed and LOVE IT. It's not too agressive at idle (in fact it's suprisingly quite) and there is NO drone whatsoever. When you get on it it roars! Last but not least it is one of the best looking that you will find. The fit an finish is superior and you will be hard pressed to find a better bang for the buck.

Best advice is to listen to them before you buy but if that's not possible do your homework and buy what you think will suit you best.

Figure out how much you are willing to pay. That will narrow down your choices considerably.

Fabspeed gen3

I have the Fabspeed Gen 3 on my 2002 GT2 and love it. No drone, only loud when you stomp on it. Better throttle response too.

i have Milltek exhaust with 100 cell cats and seems perfect for me. not to noisey at low revs but when revved out sounds brilliant. not sure how it compares for power with say fabspeed but theres def more power than stock and from what i hear the build quality is very very good, but then it is british of course ha ha

i have the old Fabspeed, complete with drone, and despite my deteriorating hearing, i love it... but it's very loud. this has its drawbacks - everyone notices you all of the time. i drove around w/ the stock exhaust for a few weeks and it was also quite fun in a different way - i could stomp on it and no one knew

I ran the Fab and HATED it. Next was the TA and didnt like the exhaust note.
Finally ended up with the AWE and love it. The quality, the finish, the sound, and no drown. After listening to ALL the exhausts I researched, this was and still is my favorite. Its the 300 cell.

Think about going with a used one. You will spend roughly half the price, its already broken in, you dont see it being under the car so if its scratched who cares, and if you hate it and want to change, sell it for what you paid for it, no loss.
good luck

I like this one...

It's the perfect sound for a Porsche Turbo!

I had the FabSpeed Gen 1 and did what WyattTT suggested. Purchased a used TechArt system from a fellow board member and love it. Does not disturb my neighbors, hear it when you stand on it and the performance I believe matches or exceeds the FabSpeed.
