Dallas Tuner
Dallas Tuner
I just bought a 2005 Turbo S Cab last month, Seal Grey exterior with matching Champion wheels and Graphite Grey leather interior.
The car seemed overwhelmingly fast that first month. So much so, I was convinced I'd never be considering any modifications. Now that I have gotten used to it (and have read with envy many of the posts on this site) I'm looking at having some modifications done. I live in Dallas TX, and I noticed that an outfit in Plano, named Autoscope Ltd., advertises that it installs the EVO packages, as well as its own package, into the 996TTs. Is anyone familiar with Autoscope Ltd. and, if so, would you recommend 'em? If not, do you have any other 996TT tuner suggestions in the Dallas area?
I know about RUF and their legendary reputation for quality, but their "bang for the buck" quotient is about as low as it gets.

I'm interested in this as well as I will be in the market for a TT soon and its unlikely I can go without modding a car after more than a month of ownership
Does RUF do tuning and such or only their full packages? Can you get parts from one of the tuners around here and have them install/tune? Maybe its a wrong assumption, but I would think they would be rediculously expensive. While "bang for the buck" may not always be the way to go, "you get what you pay for" tops out for me at some point.

I bought my car at ruf. They are really great to work with. I have also had some work done on previous cars by Nerces at autoscope. He to is a great guy who can probably do what you need, but as far as going to a tuner for Porsche in Dallas I would go talk to the guys at ruf.
