More Rear Spoiler Failure!

After 1.5 years, the rear spoiler failure light came on yesterday. I read the other thread by KPV, but the thing is I have a GT-2 wing on the car! I'm assuming that all of the rear mechanicals are gone and maybe they just disconnected or looped the feed wires. Maybe something came loose and created the "perceived" condition. Does anyone know the usual thing that is done when they do the GT-2 tail conversion? Also, if I find the problem and fix it, will the dash indicator light go away or does it have to be reset? Thanks in advance for any insight.

On the right hand side of the engine compartment there is a plug. I believe it is a five pin plug. Two of the pins are jumped. I believe it is pin two and five, however you need to verify that. It has been a long time. You may find it in a search of the forum. I remember this being discussed.

It's fixed for now but call me a skeptic. As Chad said, their is a wiring harness along the upper fender barely accessible from the engine compartment. It supplies lights, fan and the spoiler. They had used some kind of inline clip to jump a single brown wire from the car side to a brown and a brown with a red stripe from the spoiler side. It was the 2 and 5 locations. Everything seemed OK anyway so maybe by taking it apart and putting it back together did the trick. That's why I'm skeptical. Anyway, thanks for the advice Chad.
