Are the OEM pads better than Pagid Yellow on everyday driving? ...

I hear that Pagid Yellow do not work well when are cold and do not brake as good as the OEM in this conditions.

Any info about it, OEM TT brakes or OEM GT2/3 6 piston set up?

If all you are doing is regular driving or even spirited driving on the street, there really isnt a need for anything beyond stock TT calipers and pads. The Pagid pads, all colors, work great on the track but most will sound like a garbage truck sreeching to a halt at a traffic light. Some have been able to get Oranges to work on the street with no noise ,but most have the howling. FWIW, I just put on my 6piston Yellows and have yet to try them on the street or track, but for the money they were a welcome upgrade.....

I will pass with Pagid...traking is 1-2 a year but..

I have to go to a factory out of the city 2-3 times a week on a 10 miles highway runs....then I leave my wifes ride and take the TT, spirited highway driving...and from time to time on the back on my maind I think I should to upgrade the front brakes.

Dont get me wrong, they are great pads with retina detaching clamping force, but I just cringed driving the 160 miles to my track and seeing a red light an slowing to a stop and hearing the SCREEEEEEEEEECCCCHHHHIIIINNG.... The Yellows do fill up the wheel very well though in the front....

Pagid Pads

I spoke with the Pagid rep about the proper pad for street & occasional track
use. He recommended the RS 4-2-1, they have the same compound for the
GT3 6 pot calipers. Very minimum noise if any, lower dust on wheels.

Here is what they say about the RS 42-1:
A high performance compound with low fading characteristics and high cold friction. The most comfortable medium friction sport compound. Rotor friendly and OE on various Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Bugatti and Corvette (Callaway) models. Suitable for street and light track use.

the padig oranges, which are supposedly less agressive than the yellows, screetched every time i applied the slightest of pressure to the brake pedal. i would highly recommend against unless its a track only car.

stock pads feel great IMO and do a great job even if you do a track event every once in a while.

Keep it all OEM and stand on it as hard as you want in your 10 mile highway runs. They will never give you any problems under those conditions. My last set of pads were P Orange and they made a lot of noise, especially under very light braking force.

I like the 4-2-1 black padgid blacks on the street. I'm running GT-6 pots.

IMHO - pagid blue or black work just fine for aggressive street to moderate track.

No screetching with blues or blacks on my car.

Aggressive track being the oranges.

The trick with Pagid is that you cannot go soft on the brakes, otherwise they'll screech
