This is true they are a sponsor and have the right to promote their business. What they aren't "entitled to is to make accusations against other tuners(a "noob"would have no idea who they are referring to)without facts to back it up.

Techlogic, just curious ,for a "noob" with 33 posts and being a member for less than a month you sure do have a strong opinion.......What's the name of your dog in this race?

Guys, thanks for the comments. I had had dealing with Dan of Vivid and he was very professional and would business with him again. I have done quite a bit of business with EVOM and find their parts of a very high quality but they offer GIAC and I do not want to take my ECU out, ship it to AZ and wait for it to come back. Then I may have to out up with customs **** here to get it back - may take 4 weeks all up. I have nevert bought off FVD but they have given me very good feedback. Don't want to get into a competition between Tuners but need the advise of you guys who most know more about this than me. If you take into account my mods and the car is an X50, what do you suggest?

Thanks in advance and wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Daniel

I've just did the softonic tune at vivid. So far I'm very happy with it. I might be a "noob" but what I do know is:
  • my car was an EVOMS car (previous owner), he took it back to stock
  • when i wanted to mod i called EVOMS here in AZ 3 times with no return phone call
  • talked to Dan at vivid on first call and told me to bring car in for work that week
  • did the tune this week and so far so good
I do not know much about FVD, but the softronic is great so far.

Chris
