Robert in Potom is infamous around these parts
Sounds like you want a Sports Car and some practicality. Why not try a Boxster S - it has two trunks, handles as well as any mid-engined car and can easily be modded by RUF with a 3.4 engine.

hmm..
90K?

viper is nice really I like it, but you should go SPORTS SEDAN from what you're saying, comfortable, alot of luggage space, looks isnt an issue.. and most of all speed.. I'de say..

Audi RS6.. really nice car, drove one, very very powerful!
but since they're changing it I'de say E 55 AMG, or C55 AMG Kleemann SC, HEADERS, CAMS, EXHAUST.. will get you up to 600 BHP if that intrests you :P and the best choice of all wait for the NEW V10 M5

if the new Z06 was out i'd definitely grab it. I don't really want to buy a car that is 2 months away from becoming the old body style
