Which would you rather have?

Here's the scenerio. I am a young single guy. I am about to move fulltime to Los Angeles. I work from home so I have no daily commute. My partner/stepfather lives and works in beverly hills, about 20 min away (non-highway drive). I will be going there pretty often, so that is the closest i come to a commute.

I'm kind of over my club going days and never needed a car to pick up girls, so don't take that into consideration. I like nice cars simply because I love nice cars, not for other people.

My plan was to buy the Elise that i have had on order for a long time and something else like possibly a Chrysler 300C or a Toyota 4runner. I think the Elise is just too small to have as an only car. I couldn't even get groceries in it. However, I am not totally sure that i want two cars as i dont think that i'll be driving EITHER of them terribly often.

So, i've been thinking of maybe something like a Viper SRT10 for the same price.

My biggest criteria is that I MUST have a sports car and all the cars have to be new and under warranty.

EDIT: I do have 2 parking spaces in my building's garage.

-Steve

haha yes that does sound nice but unfortunately budget is a consideration. I'd say 90k max total.

ugly!!! Like Jack(LA) said...it's got inner beauty. Also, MR or not..the STI will smoke the Evo. I drove an Evo...felt like a turbo charged Honda. The Scooby has racing pedegree and is a solid winning rally car bro. WRC champion '95, '02, '03 and soon '04.

I had a SRT-10 for 9 months. Much better than the '97 GTS I had previously. The Viper is a great car. I only sold it due to the fact I didn't get much use of it because of my kids not being able to sit anywhere. It is much more practical than you think. The trunk can fit plenty of groceries. The only caveat is the heat. With the top down on a hot day you will sweat your *** off. The A/C is inadequate with the top down. The top up solves that problem. You probably won't have any problems either...it is surprisingly reliable.
