CEL or LImp Mode?

What will happen if I install a catless exhaust system in my stock 996TT? Do I get a CEL, or will the car go into Limp Mode? THANKS!!!

You will get a CEL, it will not go into limp mode. Limp mode occurs when the motor is seeing something so bad it goes into protective mode, IE killing boost and timing to protect itself. Generally from a code like misfires, cam issues and so on. If you install a catless system it will throw a code and drive like crap under light acceleration and around town. Your readings for drivability come from the secondary 02s.
