Electronic Boost control Speedo pick up
Electronic Boost control Speedo pick up
Hi there, I was hoping somebody could help me with a minor issue I'm experiencing. I've searched high and low, spent countless hours, spoke to a few Porsche mechanics but I still haven't been able to figure out where the speedo cable coming from the sensor is located at.
I have recently brought a Blitz electronic boost controller (which works a treat by the way
but to make use of all its functions, you need to have the RPM signal from the computer and also be able to read the speed the car is doing. (I believe) I've located the RPM signal wire, but I don't know where get the speed from. Can anybody help me on this PLEASE??
The boost controller is great, already (in auto mode) have managed to get a spike of 1.41 bar! awesome, the car is a completely new beast, BUT, the controller also has a chassis dyno and a mirad of other features built in, which will only work if I give it the speed of the car also.
I have the Blitz SBC-ID Colour which also looks fantastic.
Many thanks in advance!

Well, normally I was running on 0.8 bar controlled by the car's computer, so when I saw the electronic controller maintaining it at around 1.2 which is what I set, I was very impressed. Since then it has spiked further to 1.63 but the controller still maintains 99% of the boost at 1.2 bar.
The "awesome" was in reference to my perception of this new found performance more so that the spike
..its my first turbo car and I was very pleased to see a cheap device give so much extra power.
