Don't like clear coated lips, have to be very careful cleaning...Kinesis is just polished alloy so that all you use is billet polish and they clean up and shine very nice...Personally, clear coat on lips is a bad idea, imho....Don't think Fikse is clearcoated either...

the F110 lip clearcoat is a chemical process done In Japan ala Champion - it wont come off like paiinted clearcoat on US made HRE or Kinesis. Very low maintenance.

Kinesis polished lips do not have clearcoat...at least on my K58's...
