How long do exhausts made by the Asian makers last. They claim "German cats" of 100 or 200 cell type more or less.

2-5 vendors.....lets leave it there.

Question is of longevity and CAT quality...anyone open one and find out fun stuff?

I am thinking of getting one of these and curious on the 4 years old and I just starting having.....kind of data...

TIA

I think that the cats loose ability over time (what doesnt?) 100 cell cats can loose enough with time that you may throw a code.
If worried or in an emission state would go with 200 cell

My car didn't have to pass smog so I can't provide any data re emissions.
