93 Octane gasoline

Can anyone provide me with any specs for the 93 octane gasoline that is availaible in the US? The reason I need this is because I am trying to decide which flash to get. Tossing up between FVD and UMW at the moment. I think I prefer the flashloader method that Kevin uses more than the laptop method of FVD, however I want to make sure that a tune made for 93 ocatne US fuel will work okay with 98 RON Aussie fuel.
Being German, I'm pretty sure FVD would be okay, as I believe the Euro fuel is very similar to the Aussie stuff.
I'm not quite as convinced that the US 93 octanne fuel is comparable though.

You cant go wrong with either one.... your still buying a program thats not custom to your car... so the ECU will have to adjust anyways... and it does that pretty well....

Yes, 91 is crap. I only put MS 103 or MS 109 in my car. You can tell a difference! 109 octane has a motor octane rating of 101.

I think US 93 = 97/98 in the EU, so a 93 flash should be fine if Aussie fuel is same as EU

I looked at a few fuel analysis data sheets, and for 93 R+M/2 (number on pump in the USA) the RON was typically between 97-98.
