Problem with the radio

After I replaced my battery, the radio no longer works. Fuse is fine. Any ideas?

Well if you checked all the fuses and thats not it, there is a fuse on the side of the nav unit itself, you need to pull the unit forward , its just on the left hand side. And oh if it is asking for a code input it

If you dont' have the code, and if the trouble is actually related to the code....email Loren over on RennTech and he can figure out the code for you.

Is there a Porsche dealership where you are? Are you in Manila?

I lived in Makati in Forbes Park some years ago.

This happened to my car when battery went flat, all you need to do is turn radio on and even though its not working keep it on for longer than 40minutes and it resets its self on turns back on!!!!!!

'03 and onward don't require code.
These radios are known for erratic behavior. Mine does this too and seems to reset after a while. Try pressing the button for CD player; that sometimes fixes it for me.

4g64t I had the radio looked at by powertech in nj. They removed the radio and there is a fuse in behind the radio that was blown. You probably have the same problem.

Finally got the radio out and the fuse was blown. Have replaced and put it back in. The radio now has power but there is no sound. Could this be a problem with the Amp?

I would think there's a separate fuse for the amp that' also blown but I don't know for sure.

Tommy.
