What is going on with Rich @Redpants ? We all know he had family issues and I'm very sorry to hear about his Dad, however, he's running a business that many of us DIY'ers depend on. I placed an order many weeks ago and only 1/2 of it was fulfilled. He has 100% of my money, yet NO (ZERO) communication from him. I've been a huge supporter for a long time now but it appears that I'm out some $$. it's only $150, but still.

Is he out of business?

I'd be very wary of ordering from him right now.

Come on Rich.....don't screw over the guys that have helped build your success.....

nothing but negative buying experience for the past while being posted.

 

i placed 2 orders in the last 2 months and recieved all parts quickly....

 

He still is not answering. I have 1/2 of my last order and am missing $151 of fluids (which is not a lot in this day and age!)

I ordered his BC Racing coilover set 8 weeks ago, and no updates yet. I sent him an email last week - no response. Fortunately I'm not in a hurry for it, but if no updates in another month I'll have my credit card company cancel the transaction.

 

Cancel it. I think he's given up on his business at this point. NOTHING from him, and Iv'e sent messages on FB/Insta/Website, etc.....

I looked at his website and he says that if you want to contact him the website is where he communicates with his customers. He is no longer on Facebook or this list. You might want to try that.

 

I was going to order the BC coil overs this summer from him. Now I am not so sure...; (

 

I placed an order and didn't receive everything and what did arrive was incorrect. No response at all! It felt like a flat out screwing and not a "mistake" in any way. Thankfully my bank finally reversed charges ultimately due to his lack of communication.

 

Does anyone know if you can get those coilovers that he 'developed' from BC Racing directly?

 

Absolutely, it's not a secret as there is many dealers of BC Racing that can spec. It with the Swift springs. Bit of research one can figure it out.

 

This is such a shame, his chanel is a big reason why I bought my V8V. I tried to only buy parts from him as a way to support it. Seems to happen to guys as they grow and just don't have the experience.

 

same here. could be a medical issue, you never know....

 

I agree as well..have used his videos doing regular maintenance..I don’t quite understand what is going on…if your done..shut up shop…and preserve your very good reputation…this is clearly not a good situation…I hope everyone’s issues get resolved fairly…
