Dixie,

Love the car-wow!

Hard to make out on my end but is the creast on your steering wheel without the gold?

Has it stopped raining? Have you driven it yet?

I really like how the carbon pieces complement the black interior, I have a similar (slate grey) X50, but with stone (dark grey) interior.. Has anyone seen carbon interior accents on grey as opposed to black? (Pictures?).

What front bumper is that on your car Dixie?

Trevor Ely is infamous around these parts
Doesn't make a lot of sense to me to shorten the shifter lever above the fulcrum. You're only increasing the effort, and theoretically, wouldn't you want the shift lever taller/higher so that it's closer to the steering wheel?

What's the diameter of your steering wheel, btw??

My steering wheel is 340mm,I shortened my shiftknob because I like the way a shortshifter feels but not the notchines. But it still doesn't feel the same like a shortshifter..

Done your test drive yet?

My shifter arrived yesterday, so it looks like it will go in this weekend if I get a chance.

Yes I drove it but to be honest I wouldn't lower it as much as 1 inch, shifting is still smooth but shiftknob is a little to low to reach easy with your hand..
I would leave it like it is....
