Most 911 owners are gonna say they don't like it cause it's extreme, but they may agree after they get used to it.

I think it looks great with the black on red. Get opinions from non 911 owners, expecially. I say stick with it, it's a neat look!!

Wing I can tolerate, Black taillights plus the wing add way to much black on the back-end. Definitely more of a one of the other look for me.

Other than faster, can you explain how the difference feels and what exactly came with your kit? What was your overall experience like and what kind of gains did you see from your baseline pre/post install on a all wheel dyno? Thanks for your time, I am really close and a buddy and I are getting ready to fly out to meet the two above tuners soon. Although to my dissapointment Mike has not followed up with me after a phone call and email requesting his new found data on this new gt650 kit which was over a week ago which will end up making my decision on who to go with much easier. Any info you can provide would be great.
That is correct. I am the first car and test mule for the new GT660 kit. I cannot go into detail about the HP etc, I will let Evoms do that which will be soon. My car started out as a stock 996 TT. I am still getting used to the increased hp and torque. The gains are quite impressive. I spent a great deal of time at Evoms during the installation and I can tell you that they are very busy. I have found that Mike seems to respond faster to email than my phone calls. I would not rush into a decision until the new kit comes out which should be very soon. They just want to make sure it is perfect before it gets released.

My cars are always evolving. I do love the smoked tail look. I'm glad that I finally got some positive responses, I never expected all the negative responses. But it is interesting to get other opinions. I will everntually paint the GT2 wing which may help reduce the black/red contrast. I think that I will change the tailpipes, just not getting used to them. Anyway thanks for the responses and especially the positive ones.

No Please!

Paint the bumperettes guards red and the Turbo logo Flat Black! Now that would look very hot!

Would you mind listing the differences between the GT640 and your new kit?..such as what hardware is different etc..

I don't want to talk about the kit until Evoms releases the kit to the public and gives final details about the kit. Only because the last thing I want to do is give false information. I am still a total rookie when it comes to the 996TT. I can tell you that I am one happy customer.

Your car looks badass and has the horsepower to back it up. I wouldn't change a thing. It's OK to be unique, otherwise we'd all be driving stock turbo's.
