I am looking at my options for new tires. I am already aware of the Yokohama AVS Sport, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 and Continental ContiSportContact offerings.

I have heard the Dunlop SP Sport 9000 245/30/19 and 305/25/19 tires can be used on our cars. I am looking for several specifications for these tires.

• Section width
• Overall Diameter
• Revolutions/Mile

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

 

Ken, I don't think that the Dunlop's are made in the size 305/25-19. But another choice would be the Pirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico, they come in both sizes, and here is all the info that I could find of what you are asking for.

The dimensional data published by popular online sources is not always precise. Certainly not as precise as you would like it to be! Data for Pirelli P zero family for my Ruf,as published on the tirerack site differs from the factory data and my measurements! Not flakking tirerack, just handing you a heads up.OK?

The only guess would be to E-mail Dunlop. Sorry Ken I looked everywhere that I could think of.

I'm not sure if you'll be happy with the SP Sport 9000s. I have had them on two cars, and although wet traction was great, and dry traction was good, neither car was capable of what your's is. I just put a set of PS2's on my M3 and love them. I think you should seriously consider the Michelin's (Porsche obviously thinks very highly of them) to optimize performance. Also, your SSRs look very good, but have you given any thought to custom 18s? You seem to be about function at least equal to, if not more than, form, and you might be better off with 18s. Just my opinion, I think your car is great, and have no doubt you know what sort of beneifts/differences you get based upon wheel/tire combo.

I do not, which is why I stayed away from this thread... The oens I have here are a GT3 setup (wheels and tires). These are much better tires than the regular SP9000's for performance driving... However they are only made in 18" so I cannot help you out... If you find out which SP9000's you want I would be happy to try and get them for you tho...
